EdX has just released the newest version of the edX platform on edx.org and edX Edge.
This release includes the following updates.
-
When you edit the core checkbox and multiple choice problem types in the advanced editor, you can now set attributes and options by adding a element. For more information, see Using the Script Element in Checkbox Problems or Using the Script Element in Multiple Choice Problems in the Building and Running an edX Course guide, or Using the Script Element in Checkbox Problems or Using the Script Element in Multiple Choice Problems in the Building and Running an Open edX Course guide.
-
In open response assessments, when a member of the course staff overrides a learner’s grade by performing a staff assessment, any steps that the learner did not complete for the assignment are now marked as complete. Previously, steps that required action from the learner remained open after a grade override, and the assignment was left in an incomplete state.
- For courses that require ID verification, learners whose verifications are still valid no longer receive prompts to renew their verifications.
For more information about these and other changes in this release, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all of the edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
