EdX has just released the newest version of the edX platform on edx.org and edX Edge.
This release includes the following updates.
-
Course teams can now define additional correct answers for numerical input problems. For more information, see Adding Multiple Correct Responses in Building and Running an edX Course or Adding Multiple Correct Responses in Building and Running an Open edX Course.
-
Course teams who want to rescore a problem in a course, either for an individual learner or for all learners, can now specify that the problem will only be rescored for a learner if rescoring the problem improves that learner’s grade. The Rescore Only if Score Improves and Rescore Only if Scores Improve options are available on the Student Admin page on the Instructor Dashboard.
-
Course teams can use the new Hide Page from Learners setting to make custom pages visible only to Staff or Admin course team members. For more information, see Adding Custom Pages in Building and Running an edX Course or Adding Custom Pages in Building and Running an Open edX Course.
-
In Insights, a Course Home link is now available on the navigation bar on all course pages.
-
Two new SQL tables, student_courseaccessrole and django_comment_client_role_users, are now included in partner organization data packages. For more information, see User Info and Learner Progress Data in the EdX Research Guide.
For more information about these and other changes in this release, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all of the edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
