Join us for 2023 Open edX Conference at MIT’s campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This conference will be centered around expanding access to education globally, the future of work, and using open technology to solve today’s challenges of up-skilling, re-skilling, and delivering life-long learning.
Conference attendees will learn about innovative uses of technology in higher education, inside corporations, and across nations. Attendees will also learn about advancements in instructional design, course production, and methods for operating, extending, and enhancing the Open edX platform.
Schedule Outline:
The Open edX Conference will be held on Tuesday, March 28th – Friday, March 31st, 2023.
Keynote talks will be presented the mornings of March 29th and March 30th.
All tickets include breakfast, lunch, coffee/tea time, and a cocktail reception.
Refund Policy:
If an attendee is unable to attend the conference, they may transfer their tickets to another individual or receive a credit toward the next Open edX conference.
In cases where a ticket cannot be transferred and a credit is not desirable, a refund can be requested with the understanding that:
-A $45 dollar processing fee will be deducted from the refund
-The request must be more than 21 days before the start of the conference
-All requests must be to the conference organizers in writing.
Visa Denials:
In cases where the attendees visa has been denied, a refund in full of the ticket price will be made upon the presentation of proof of denial. In these cases, the conference organizers will pay any processing fees assuming a good faith effort was made to obtain a visa.
Force Majeure:
If the conference must be canceled owing to circumstances beyond our control, we will refund the price of tickets less whatever fees we cannot recover from our processing vendors.
Important:
Please note that photographs and video footage will be taken throughout the 2023 Open edX Conference. These will be used by the Open edX team for marketing and publicity purposes on our website, social media, and/or other public forums. If you have concerns, or do not wish to be recorded, please do not proceed with the purchase of a ticket for this conference.
