Provide learners with hints when they submit incorrect answers to numerical input or text input problems, drawing on a growing library of hints contributed and rated by previous learners in the same course. Learners can add new hints after their own attempts, and rate existing hints as helpful or not, continuously improving the quality of the hint pool over time. The Crowdsourced Hinter XBlock turns the collective experience of a course cohort into a practical support resource for future learners.
