EdX has just released the newest version of the edX platform on edx.org and edX Edge.

This release includes the following updates.

  • Course team members with the Staff role can now access and modify grades for individual learners. Course team members with the Admin role remain able to access and modify grades for all learners in a course. For more information, see Administrative Team Roles in Building and Running an edX Course or Administrative Team Roles in Building and Running an Open edX Course.
  • The grade and problem grade reports now include “Not Attempted” and “Not Available” values for problems that learners have not attempted or that were not available for particular learners.   • On the learner Progress page, the details in the visual chart are now accessible to keyboard and screen reader users.
  • HTML headings on the course Home page have been reorganized to improve accessibility. The Home page structure uses heading levels 1-5. Course teams can use heading level 6 (
