EdX follows a continuous release model. Updates are released to the platform on edx.org and edX Edge each day.

The following changes were released during the week ending 13 January 2017.

  • The problem template for Custom JavaScript Display and Grading problems (also called custom JavaScript problems or JS input problems) has been updated.

  • On unit pages in Studio, the guidance in the Unit Location panel now instructs course teams to use /jump_to_id/ formatting to create links to units in HTML text components. For more information, see Add a Link to a Course Unit in Building and Running an edX Course or Add a Link to a Course Unit in Building and Running an Open edX Course.

  • When learners select the Support option in the LMS to contact learner support, learners can specify the course that is the subject of their question or comment.

  • The documentation for Custom JavaScript Display and Grading problems has been extensively updated. For more information, see Custom JavaScript Display and Grading Problem in Building and Running an edX Course or Custom JavaScript Display and Grading Problem in Building and Running an Open edX Course.

For more information about these and other changes during the week ending 13 January 2017, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all of the edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
