EdX follows a continuous release model. Updates are released to the platform on edx.org and edX Edge each day.

The following changes were released during the week ending 27 January 2017.

  • Course teams that use content groups to deliver specific content to learners in different cohorts can now use the Preview option to test draft content according to content group. For more information, see Testing Your Course Content in Building and Running an edX Course and Testing Your Course Content in Building and Running an Open edX Course.

  • For course discussions, options to sort posts by most activity, recent activity, or most votes are now available for inline discussions.

  • A version of the drag and drop problem type has been released that includes screen reader and keyboard accessibility improvements.

  • For data packages, a problem that prevented some play_video events from being logged after seek_video events has been resolved.

For more information about these and other changes during the week ending 27 January 2017, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all of the edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
