EdX has just released the newest version of the edX Platform on edx.org and edX Edge.

This release includes the following changes.

  • In edX Insights, you can now see course start and end dates and follow LMS links to the courseware or Instructor Dashboard.
  • Also in edX Insights, you can now, while reviewing a graph of learners’ viewing patterns for a video, select Expand Preview to immediately play that video. For more information, see Engagement with Course Video in Using edX Insights.
  • Documentation changes include the addition of an index of edX feature flags in the Installing, Configuring, and Running the Open edX Platform guide, and a section about best practices for designing courses for the mobile experience in the Building and Running an edX Course guide.

For more information about the changes in this release and in our previous releases, see the edX Release Notes. You can access the weekly release notes, as well as all other edX documentation, at docs.edx.org.
