EdX has just released the newest version of the edX platform on edx.org and edX Edge.

This release includes the following features and enhancements.

  • The Dogwood version of Open edX is now available. For information about features and other changes in this release, see the Open edX Dogwood Release notes, or read the Dogwood blog post on the Open edX portal.
  • To enhance accessibility, updates have been made have been made to the labels and on-screen help text that appear on the Discussion page in the LMS. In addition, tool tip messages that appear in problem assignments are now presented as complete sentences.
  • Beta testers for self-paced courses can now access the course before the course start date.
