EdX has just released the newest version of the edX Platform on edx.org and edX Edge.
This release includes the following changes.

You can now include two new types of components in your courses: polls and surveys. Information about these new components has been added to the partner and open edX guides for course teams.

Courses that include any ORA 1 assessments, which were deprecated in May 2014, now present a warning message when opened in Studio. When these courses are viewed in the LMS, the ORA 1 assessments no longer appear as part of the courseware.

To improve accessibility of the edx.org sign in and registration page, instructions that provide additional context for screen reader users are now included.
