edX Release on July 1, 2015

EdX has just released the newest version of the edX Platform on edx.org and edX Edge.

This release includes the following changes.

  • You can now add feedback, hints, or both to common problem types, including dropdown and text input problems.

  • The appearance of common problem types has changed to make these problems more mobile friendly.

Several documentation updates were also made.

  • A new Processing Video Files section in the Building and Running an edX Course guide describes the workflow for creating and uploading videos for an edx.org course.

  • Information about the new problem templates that include hints and feedback has been added to the partner and open edX guides.
