This Friday, May 13th, is the last day you can make a reduced-rate reservation at the Sheraton Palo Alto–the official hotel for Open edX 2016.
Why Stay at the Sheraton Palo Alto?
- Location. The Sheraton Palo Alto is the closest hotel to Stanford’s campus and the conference venue. A 20-minute walk or short ride on the Marguerite will take you to Lathrop Library. And, because it is right next to the CalTrain Palo Alto station, it is easy to get to and from SFO airport.
- Amenities. The Sheraton is a beautiful place to stay – we know, we’ve stayed there! In addition to the heated pool, there are fitness spaces, gardens, coffee, and snacks.
- Price. Typically, a room at the Sheraton costs $445/night, but we’ve negotiated a special conference rate of $359/night. This is the only hotel offering a discounted rate for Open edX 2016 attendees.
