We’re gearing up for the 2026 Open edX Conference in Salt Lake City, UT – and we’re excited to showcase talks from across the Open edX Community.
Our 2026 Call for Proposals is open now through Friday, March 6, and we’d love to hear from educators, operators, developers, and innovators across the Open edX Community!
Sessions are 30-minute presentations in the following areas:
- Pedagogy & Instructional Design: How are you leveraging the Open edX platform in innovative ways to support teaching and learning? This could cover AI integrations, custom extensions to the platform, or general strategies for centering the Open edX platform in your teaching practices.
- Case Studies: A range of topics aimed at institutions and individuals new to, or experienced users of, the Open edX software. What are you doing in your company or institution to create community and learning experiences for a diverse range of worldwide learners?
- Product Development & Usage: What’s new in the Open edX platform? Talks in this track provide an overview and/or deep dives into new and upcoming features and changes, including how these features are used and what problems they solve.
- Development: This technical track is aimed at Open edX developers and instance operators. We are interested in learning more about how you’re extending and integrating the platform and latest best practices for operating Open edX instances. We are also looking for 10-minute lightning talk submissions in this track.
Whatever role you play in the Open edX Community, we want to hear about your experiences, triumphs, and challenges.
We hope you join the conversation at the 2026 Open edX Conference!
