Open edX Prize

February 26, 2020 | By

New for 2020, we will be awarding the Open edX Prize to celebrate impactful work by the Open edX community of engineers and instructors.

Open source software is great because it enables the broadest possible adoption, experimentation and innovation. But all that fabulous work doesn’t always get the attention it deserves. We’re awarding the Open edX Prize to ensure the best work in the community gets widely known.

We’re accepting nominations in two categories:

  • The most important technical project
  • The most important project in instruction or learning design

Nominations will close on April 17, 2020.

Winners will be announced at the Open edX Conference in May. Winners will receive their award at the plenary during the keynotes and will have 5 minutes to present their winning project to the audience.
